Your Key Responsibilities

• Evaluatesystem architectures to select the best alternative to meet stakeholder and system requirements.
• Contribute to the development and management of system requirements based on the stakeholder requirements.
• Contribute to the development of a technical solution which meets the requirements and complies with the state-of-the-art based on domain standards (includinganalyses, evaluation and mitigation of design risks).
• Contribute to the exchange of development-related information and collaboration with internal/external development partners for system elements (e.g., electrics & electronics, software, sub-systems, components), with production (e.g.,special characteristics or producibility aspects), with customers regarding system aspects, with verification and validation at the system level, or with other relevant functions.
• Apply given system development processes.
  
  Your Qualifications
  
  
  • Bachelor of Science degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or other engineering field.
  • Minimum 1 year of applicable engineering experience.
  • Experience in functional safety of mechatronic systems.
  • Experience in risk analysis and Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA).
  • Understanding of vehicle powertrain architecturesand components.
  • Basic understanding of electric machines and controlsof hydraulics and heat transfer.
  • Understanding of modelling and simulating of electric or mechatronic systems.
  • Experience in presenting engineering topics and moderating discussions.
  • Experience in solving engineering problems.

    • Salary range: $75,000 - $120,000
    • Hiring Bonus: $500 after 90 days, $1000 after 180 days
