Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Shipping & Logistics
Lead who will also handle key customer service functions. This
hybrid role involves overseeing daily shipping operations, managing
logistics workflows, and serving as a point of contact for customer
inquiries related to orders, tracking, and delivery. The ideal
candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and experienced in
both logistics coordination and client communication.ESSENTIAL
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe essential functions include, but are
not limited to the following:Logistics & Shipping:--- Lead and
coordinate all shipping activities, ensuring timely and accurate
order fulfillment--- Manage relationships with freight carriers and
negotiate competitive shipping rates--- Oversee the preparation of
shipping documentation (e.g., bills of lading, customs forms,
packing slips)--- Ensure compliance with domestic and international
shipping regulations, customs requirements, and company policies---
Track shipments and proactively resolve delivery issues or
delays--- Maintain shipping schedules and update internal systems
with accurate tracking and order statusCustomer Service:--- Respond
to customer inquiries related to orders, delivery timelines, and
shipment status--- Provide professional, timely assistance via
phone, email, or chat--- Resolve order discrepancies, damages, or
delivery complaints efficiently and empathetically--- Collaborate
with warehouse and sales teams to ensure a seamless customer
experience--- Maintain accurate customer records and order
documentation--- Perform other duties as assigned.EDUCATION AND
EXPERIENCE--- High school diploma or equivalent. --- Bachelor's
degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or
related field preferred.--- Five years of experience in
shipping/logistics.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (SKILLS AND ABILITIES)---
Strong knowledge of domestic and international shipping processes
and freight regulations--- Proficiency in Microsoft office and
experience with logistics, ERP, or CRM software --- Strong
attention to detail and organizational skills--- Effective
communication, listening, and problem-solving abilities--- Ability
to build and maintain strong client relationships.---
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently,
while still working as a part of a team.--- Excellent ability to
multi-task and prioritize in a busy, fast-growth environment ---
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution
skills--- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to
meet deadlinesPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT The physical

warehouse facilities.--- Must be able to work in our Detroit HQ
